Symptoms of Menopause

The main symptoms of menopause are hot flashes.
Other menopause symptoms include palpitations, depression, anxiety, irritability, mood swings, poor concentration and vaginal dryness. Urinary frequency can occur along with erratic menstrual periods. Night sweats and sleep problems can occur.

There can be a watery vaginal discharge, vaginal spotting, urinary incontinence, osteoporosis, joint pain and back pain. The breasts can atrophy and the skin can get thinner with decreased elasticity. A woman can have low libido and problems reaching an orgasm or pain with sexual activity.
